She's one of the nicest people you could ever meet.
She certainly seems that way from how she comes across on TV... how many people could deal with children as well as she does... both on Stars in their Eyes and in the heyday of SM:TV, what always struck me was how she made people feel at ease talking to her. I know I certainly couldn't deal with some of the prococious brats that they have on TV! Hehe, I want more details about what you did at CD:UK, it sounds as though it was fascinating! Lots of early Saturday mornings though

Only 1 early Saturday morning-lol!!
I could'nt do any more than that because of School committments during the week
It was fantastic seeing it from a different angle after all those years at SM:tv(not working-just clapping!!)

Ahh, how unfortunate.... I bet you'll always remember it though, it would be a good experience to have, especially if you want to go into the media industry.
Send a pm to fanoftv. He has somne early episodes of SM:TV and CD:UK, he should be sending me some soon. I have got the last 3 SM:TVs on video (and their CD:UKs), and I have been taping CD:UK once a fortnight since, though I keep wishing I had taped SM:TV & CD:UK throught it's life. Sadly, the end of SM:TV was all that inspired me to start taping them.
I personally thought CD:UK was better in the early days, with the three presenters (Ant & Dec injected a lot of atmosphere into the show that was lost when they left) and was more chart oriented, where it's nearly all pre-releases now. And they also did a much better job of concealing who was number 1 whereas Cat pretty much seems to reveal it on the MoM rundown now!
And with Early SM:TVs, I've seen and heard alot of people saying there we really bad (even Ant & Dec!), but I actually quite liked it in the early days. Obviously it wasn't as good as it became, but was still hugely enjoyable, even though no-one on the show really had much of an idea what they are supposed to be doing and was done pretty much on a shoestring back then, with no real set for sketches as well as the cartoons they had (Cow & Chicken and The Angry Beavers- two of the best cartoons of the late 90s) which were fun to watch (and I still watch them when they're on!). Still, it was pretty mundane compared to what the show became.
