According to ITV Teletext page 142 cd:uk is being axed due to falling ratings. I had no idea it was doing so badly.

I'm not suprised. it's got really poor recently, I stopped watching around May time alst year. The new format has to be the worst thing ever though. IMO, they should never have axed The Chart Show.

Not surprising in the slightest, it was fantastic when Ant, Dec and Cat used to host it, but even when Ant & Dec left Cat still made it a good and watchable programme, but it went even further down the pan after she left, and to be honest Dave Berry is a host I cannot stand.

I personally thought ITV were going to give time for the new CD:uk to develop, but this isn't the case, other than Myleen Klass I cannot say I've heard of the other two presenters. It'll be interesting to see what they replace it with, I'm betting on nothing or repeats, I can't see the return of the much missed ITV Chart Show

I'd guess for music ITV will probably stick with Orange Playlist

To be quite honest I'm not suprised, even though Ant and Dec left at least Cat made the show watchable, I can't stand that Dave Berry, I never liked he's presenting style.

Why was it that in the old days, the summer Saturday morning shows were never as good as the autumn winter ones on the BBC?
