What they've got to do is find new presenters, either totally new or people that are just doing a bit of presenting somewhere but have potential.

Sara Elgan has always been a good presenter in my mind that's been underused by everything she's been on.

Another great presenter is T4's Steve Jones who would draw on the female audience, he isn't too childrens presenter, yet isn't too serious.

I'd say go for a twosome so that the new presenters could work off each other rather than someone being pushed into following Cat's shoes on their own.

Both that I've mentioned did come from the S4C stable that seems to produce great presenters, the only thing is that it may be a bit welsh dominated, not a problem, especially if S4C want a welsh spin off made!

Its sad that Cat Deeley is quitting CD:UK. This will probably be the final demise of the show. How long is it currently contracted until?

They now seem to be in a bit of a Have I Got News for You situation with different guest presenters every week, maybe they could do this permanently?

I would think Kerry would be one of the favourites to get the job full time,

Maybe Chris Evans could be a guest presenter?!

I didn't like Kerry, infact I haven't really liked any of the presenters, the only good thing about Dave Berry was that he could actually present, as for the others they're nothing in comparison, and the should would suffer.

If it was the same guy that was hosting CD:UK Hotshots the other night I don't rate him much.

That would be Dave Berry.
He started at Nickelodeon, moved onto MTV, then found himself presenting TRL and has now made it onto ITV1.

He always seems a bit too big headed to me, for some reason.

He seems to be becoming the new presenter by default at the moment, presenting 2 weeks running.

Next week it's Cat's last time, then hopefully someone else

I'm taping it next week and i'll probably tape MoM aswell,or at least some of it. I wonder what they'll do next week.Maybe they'll suprise us with special titles, you never know! They might just do a Micheal Underwood and have her announce at the end, probably show a few clips.
As to who's going to replace her,i think they could try Steve Jones and Sara Elgan.Or even Dani Behr and Joe Mace if they had some kidding down!

Today show was recorded last week, hence Dave Berry again!
The show will probably be axed late this year with the ratings as bad they are,it's only a matter of time. My friend is off to the next weeks show .

the ratings being what exactly?

Considering the show has a very generic format, I can't see it being axed in the near future, what would they replace it with, an identical show. It's all about the music really!

Well i think it will be axed.I think the ITV chart show lasted 10 years. So maybe we'll have CD:uk till 2008!
