Here is the 2nd part of the CBS/WB/CW/UPN/VIACOM video. Its equally complicated but wholy interesting to those of us that enjoy the business of tv.

Thank you for that Mouseboy. It was a fascinating documentary.

It's just a shame someone didn't tell the narrator how to speak at a normal speed. His fast ramblings became quite irritating after a while. Perhaps that's how they always do it in the US. Rolling Eyes

I quite enjoyed the fast pace of it as I’m sure he crammed more in that way.

It’s quite interesting because there is also a lot of history of the US TV networks and how they worked.

It was annoying, but It was likely compressed to hit the 1 hour mark. Its packed with a lot of info though.

I managed to just about keep up, but yes the voiceover was a bit fast.

It does seem to be the YouTube style these days to edit every pause out and even the tiniest silence out to make it really really tight and fast and so there are absolutely no gaps at all its what Steve Wright does to his interviews on Radio 2 and it's really annoying... *deep breath*

Oh and its compulsory to start your video 'hey guys'

Given both parts amount to two hours, I'm not too bothered if he tried to hurry things along.

I keep seeing "VIACOM BS" whenever I see it mentioned.
