I wonder why the tweenies doesn't ger a repeat. That the one show that never ending and even had pop songs.

It was until a few years ago, programmes do have a shelf life though, and they get replaced with better and/or more modern ones.

I imagine that's true with CBBC, CITV and Milkshake, there's a point where a programme isn't worth repeating anymore.

Yes although I imagine the older the target audience the less repeatable they are. They're more contemporary so age quicker

Pre-school programmes can be repeated for years and years. Young children like repitition. The scheduling on Cbeebies is very different to other channels. Some series on Cbeebies have 20 episodes and get repeated over and over, some like have several series of 20 or 40 episodes that rotate in the same slot. They retire older episodes of programmes like Something Special, so that only seems to have the last 2 or 3 series rotating

Sometimes as a parent it's a highlight of your day when there's a new episode of your child's favourite programme Crying or Very sad

The original Teletubbies had 365 episodes so they didn't need to show an episode twice in a year.

The days of getting a brand new episode of Play School every day seem a long way away!
Closedown and NorthTonight gave kudos
