On the RT website it's listing schools programmes for during the day on CBBC, but when I went to check them out today, they weren't on. There was about 2 hrs of 'Feather Boy' and an hour or two of 'Stig of the Dump', which were listed on the RT site, but not in such big doses, and with loads of schools stuff on too. Anybody know what is going on here?
There seems to be a full morning of "Class TV" on CBBC in the morning Class TV Look and Read, Words and Pictures, Landmarks, Words and Pictures "Plus" etc
Perhaps they're last minute changes as some people are still off school. Im sure they would have usually shownt normal programmes for this week anyway until everybody was back at school.
According to digiguide they should have been on yesturday, that's Bank Holiday Monday, that would have been interesting.
I reckon what happend was, they didn't realise it was a bank holiday, scheduled the programmes by mistake (i think the system is even set to play them weeks ahead of time according to something I read on the Look and Read @ fsnet site), and took them off last minute. Tuesday, Class TV was back as published.
I have the Class TV Spring 05 spreadsheet (had it for a few weeks) for taping purposes - there were no educational programmes scheduled for Holiday Monday. So th education department knew they weren't showing Class TV!
must've been a cock up somewhere along the line when they gave the listings out to magazines etc. then. it's a bit crap for even the radio times site to have the schedule mistakes though.
