It was about 2006 when the bulk of the programmes from the OU left the service and the zone was reduced in length before being scrapped altogether in 2015, so thinking about it the DOG may have been around as late as that albeit for only two hours or so a night. But since Of992 likes his/her DOGs, landing between 1997 and 2006 is as good a place to send them to

CITV plan to combat this? There using the slot to broadcast films.
Looking ahead to next week - BBC Two is showing Rugby League World Cup - England v Lebanon, so Mash-Up! is CBBC Only. Deadly 60 is still preceding the World Cup however.
(Also the final episode of Len Goodman's Partners in Rhyme is on BBC One)
I'd forgotten about Partners in Rhyme, the BBC /programmes site indicates it went on a break from the schedules after episode 5 on 16th September, and episode 6 is airing on 4th November. Still in the early evening though, unless you count 5pm as Saturday morning.
Ahh, it's just that post is written in a way that makes it sound like it's opposite the rugby on BBC2 and mash-up on CBBC!
That's what I get for posting before going to bed.

I got a chance to catch up with today episodes, since I though it would be better to give them a few weeks to run in.
* I see the Credit squeeze has been introduce
* I also notice some of the kids were still looking bizaar at some of the stuff, like Jonny dress up as woman in red
* I take it the clocking in on the tolly game is to waste some time?
* I still dont get the royal viewer stuff.
* Hacker stills pull the rabbit out of the hat.
* the Ask me anything section really should be alot longer
I still think something is missing, something weird or eccentric, but it still a good effort.
I wonder if they did something for the 2 minutes silence or did theh show poppies like they did before
They ended the programme slightly earlier, went into some pre-recorded CBBC HQ continuity pushing what's coming up later in the week
and then another pre-rec link from Kate introducing and explaining the film 'Poppies'.

CBeebies had presenter Ben saying "remembering [pause] together", with no explanation whatsoever about the film, unlike CBBC.
