I've had a vision of the BBC Logo in the middle of the screen, the the letters flying to form this (without the dashes, they're just there to demonstrate): CB__B___, and the the letters EE IES appear in the gaps. Could someone make a mock of that?

The C Beebies name is ****
in stupid, why not call it BBC KIDS! I can't wait to see the end of that black & yellow style animations currently used on CBBC either. The CBBC design was good when I was a kid in 1991!
Here's my VERY quickly done mock of what the logo might look like

Isn't there already a BBC Kids? Doesn't it broadcast abroad? Anyway, if it did, I don't see why they couldn't use this name.

BBC Kids is a channel BBC Worldwide run in Canada - possibly also in the USA - not sure if it's on air yet but it definitely exists.

Using the name BBC Kids in the UK would be an invitation for critics to accuse the BBC of 'dumbing down'. Going from Children's BBC to BBC Kids? I think the term 'kids' would still be regarded as too colloquial, too Americanised, too 'commercial television' for the BBC to use.
