'CBBC is meanwhile preparing for a complete makeover and rebranding by brand consultants Lambie-Nairn in January, with the launch of digital channels CBeebies and CBBC following shortly afterwards.'

Excellent news. Please bring back the word 'Childrens' Smile

Will this be an end to the 4:3 cropping or am I just being optimistic?

I agree, what's the point of cropping children's programmes, it serves no benefit at all since we are seeing less picture top/bottom(w/s tv) as well as left and right on a standard telly!

One thing Im sure of, if we dont stop it, this 4:3 cropping will spread to all 4:3 programmes. But if it does happen, I can see a mass-mailing campign by us to the BBC.

I'm just wondering how they will incorporate the name Cbeebies into the generic BBC Logo.

Will it be BBC (in a small font - like BBC Two's)
Cbeebies (in a larger font)

or will it just be a plain name?

It won't have the BBC name with it because theire name is already included in the name the corporation is known as The Beeb, hence cBEEBies

It's a bit of a stupid name I agree, but hey.
