Several reasons, Nelly Nut comes from TC2 and needs to rehearse during that time (and do some pre-rec in the case of Nelly).

Do they come from the studio or a room near by? I imagine the software needs more than the average PC!! The hand movements etc must be very complicated.

How does Nelly Nut work? I was under the impression it was done live...

When I get chance I only watch Nelly Nut because I think it's so clever!!
For the person who wanted her name, it's Rebecca Sheeman (I think). There are credits on Friday. I think see styles Nelly' hair Wink

On pre-recs over the summer, CBBC TWO recorded the earlier links. I got up early one Monday and a viewer had written in asking why Angelica was still there because on Friday she said she was going to LA for a week, tomorrow. The other presenter then blamed the viewer for writing in, saying they had offended her and she had gone home, so Sophie had come in. Rolling Eyes They may not have intended it to sound serious, but it did.
So now they are getting at others for their lazyness. I seem to remember the last 5 or 6 years every other team has managed to make it in for 7!

Interesting - the callers on tonight's show asking for Nelly's autograph! Do they not realise she's just a computer graphic? lol!

Wonder who gets to do the "autograph" then...? Razz

But Studio Disney don't usually broadcast over christmas, and usually have some special pre recs. Like last year they had Nigel, Jean & Emma in America. They also had Nigel with Raven (of that's so raven) inbetween a day of movies.

I think they went up to the day before christmas eve, live. Or it could have actually been the friday before christmas.

Are all presenters cards a printed signature, or like do xchange presenters sign photos of themselves?

Well, obviously with Nelly being a cartoon, she can't do it herself!

CBBC Presenter cards are printed clean - autographs are done individually by each presenter.

Sadly it's oftern a nightmare getting hold of presenters to do a batch and it's usually me who has to chase them round to get them Rolling Eyes

The bane of my life I tells ya...
