Oh well - I suppose it depends how they deal with it, it might make some interesting graphics - but I doubt it.
These new logos look very much like the one used by BBC Kids in Canada.
People were saying about the launch date ebing in school time but it is actually in half term. It's really early this year so everyone will get to see it. There seem to be a lot of repeats on the first day though. Not a good start.

Checked BBC News Online BBC Knowledge will be continuing transmissions post CBBC launch from 7am - 7pm(CBBC Hours). CBeebies will have the same hours as CBBC on Choice.
BBC 4 will launch later along with R5 Live Sports Extra.
According to Produxion.com the BBC Two re-launch was successful and BBC One would change later this year.

Successful with whom? Not the viewers surely, there's hardly anyone who likes them!
(Veering further off-track, interesting that the same Produxion article mentions that Radio 1 is to start pushing the BBC brand more - apparently many listeners don't realise Radio 1 is a BBC station!)
And getting back on track, I've looked up the website of my old school (we didn't have school websites in my day! http://web.ukonline.co.uk/tv.home/forum/emoticons/biggrin.gif) and, in Surrey at least, half term is 18-22 February. It's possible that it differs around the country.
And the new Radio Times again indicates that the CBBC channel should be carrying schools programmes in daytime.

The BBC TWO rebrand sucessful, MY ASS! I don't know anyone who likes the new 2s. My Mum even misses the old 2s and she's not really an ident fanatic.
I've always known Radio 1 was BBC RADIO 1, but I can understand some people not knowing this, none of the jingles saw BBC on Radio 1 but on Radio 2 a lot of them do. Although promotion has stepped up on BBC ONE for Radio 1 recently with the modified Radio logos!
'CBBC is meanwhile preparing for a complete makeover and rebranding by brand consultants Lambie-Nairn in January, with the launch of digital channels CBeebies and CBBC following shortly afterwards.', MediaGaurdian.co.uk
So CBBC on ONE and TWO get a new look first at the end of January and the new channels will launch a week later. CBBC also joined up with the Bristol Grapic Design Department. If they are designing the new look its probably going to be better than Lambie-Nairn.

Half term dates vary across the country - I exect they are launching the channels to coincide with the earliest dates being observed.

That's odd. West Midlands and Worcestershire definately break up really early on the 7th and half term is 11-15th Feb. I though it was usually constant throughout the country.
I'm a little confused with different comments, will CBBC and CBeebies have their own new channels or will they just be part of BBC Choice (BBC 3) and BBC Knoweldge (BBC 4)?
CBBC and CBeebies will be
on
BBC Choice (BBC 3) and BBC Knowledge (BBC 4). They are not their own seperate channels, and the part of CBBC on BBC1 and 2 for younger children will be called CBeebies (like telly tots on CiTV).
