And I hope Xchange do keep the studio the same as it is now.
I have to disagree - I hate the current studio - it's all dark and messy and completely clashes with the presentation of the show (which is the exact opposite - clean and light!).
I agree, it is very messy, but I quite like the rest. But I surpose if it was re-designed with a more sunny, holiday, outdoor feel it would be better!

But most toddlers like repetitiveness - just look at tellietubbies! My little sister is always watching the same disney video over and over again. It would be unneccesary for CBeebes to have a different schedule - anyway, are little kids really going to complain?
There is a new CBBC studio - one of the main TV Centre studios is being used for The XChange, and I believe presentation for the CBBC channel. Studio 9 will continue to be used for CBBC on One, Two (and Prime?) I think.
The new CBBC studio is one of the small main TV Centre studios, roughly the same size as the one used for Breakfast/Working Lunch/Newsround/Newsnight etc. In fact until 1997 it WAS the studio used for Breakfast, Newsround and Newsnight...
Longer term I hear rumours that the TV Centre restaurant block will be closed, to allow all the Childrens studios to be sited closer to each other - Studio 9 is in the basement of the restaurant block, and already one of the three canteens in the block has shut, leaving just two. Only a rumour - but one that has been doing the rounds for a while...

Using the same studio that Newsround used to use? What? Newsround has always used a tiny studio and CBBC's set has always been relitively big. I hope all of CBBC (BBC 1 & CBBC Channel) could use Studio 9 coz it has access to the garden and a balcony over it and it looks great when they broardcast from there in the summer.
