Yep, bit of a breakdown which meant the loss of the end of Miami 7 around 6.25pm tonight. I caught the CBBC Whoops! caption

for a little while before returning to the studio and the two presenters filling. Funny of the presenter to have an email (memorized - he didn't have the sheet!) from 'John'. Yeah, right! And the old 'Let's get this man a job...well, a bit of pay would be nice' seemed to go down like a lead balloon. Ortis believed it was a very intelligent hacker who wanted to pull Miami 7 off air. They put their current video on instead before going into Newsround.

How humiliating it must be for the BBC, especially on the channel's launch day!

Nice caption Asa, I like that red blobby background they've used - kinda looks like blood cells!

A few technical difficulties are to be expected aren't they? I like what they are doing with the background but what is it? It's on all the CBBC sets!

CBBC Channel is 621, with CBeebies being on (not surprisingly) 622!

You don't want to get it - I'm amazed how inferior to CBBC on Choice it really is!

No.

The first day is even more of a reason for there not to be technical problems, IMO. They should have rehearsed and practiced well in advance. No excuses.

That DOG looks horrible, it seems to flicker too. Animating DOGs are becoming too popular for my liking.

What's the need for them? I am perfectly happy with a small and unobtrusive transparent DOG, but full colour, animating and big ones just look crap.

No.

The kids would like it though and at the end of the day, that's all that matters!

I think they were having problems with Miami7 all the way... Jake & Ortis had to fill a few mins going into Mi7... one of them said 'And we can [i]finally[/] go to Miami7 right now!' or something like that, and I get the filling they were feeling...
