Intriguing, judging by Lindsey's constant gushing of the Blue Peter team on Instagram/Twitter I don't think she's likely to be leaving any time soon. I'm quite surprised that Naomi Wilkinson hasn't been made permanent as she seems to have proved very popular when she's guest hosted (including only a few weeks back!)

She'll soon be the longest running presenter in over 12 years after Konnie Huq (she's currently only 2 weeks behind Barney Harwood).

Highly unlikely they'd make a 45 year old a Blue Peter presenter. Even Barney was pushing on a bit when he got the job and he was 30.

Lindsey doesn’t really do much outside of Blue Peter, that was the main reason why Radzi left as he had made it big in the industry. Barney never really got that, he wanted to do something else which is why he left.

Today’s Blue Peter was a bit different. They had a 4 minute message before from Lindsey, which started saying that the programme was filmed before the outbreak, which moved on to other news about the show (fan of the month, thanks for getting involved). Naomi was hosting with Richie and Lindsey as well. Still nothing about the new presenter.
