Though no In-vision continuity last time I checked... Is it really CBBC as we know it without that?
Wasn't sure where to put this, but CBBC on BBC2 seems to have quietly returned on Saturday mornings - a few repeats between about 6:45am and 8:30am.

Depends what era you grew up, I guess. There's videos from early 90s BBC2 where the normal continuity announcer introduced children's programmes using the then-current Children's BBC ident. But by the end of the decade if there was a CBBC slot on BBC Two I think it was usually in-vision from Studio 9, and if not the CBBC presenters still did the voiceover over the idents instead of the standard CA.
Even CBBC on Choice (the later, proto-CBeebies version) had in-vision continuity though I believe it was all pre-recorded.

Considering the CBBC Channel has run for years throughout the day and most of the weekend without any in-vision continuity at all, I'd say its no different from normal service.

Indeed, this isn't really anything new:

This was a really weird period - loads of the output introduced like this, out of vision but with a voiceover clearly recorded by a presenter in a studio, which begged the question why not just record an invision link. Of course this period saw the studio facilities massively reduced so it was clearly a stepping stone to get the audience used to no presenter on screen, when it would have been unthinkable before. And lo, from Sep 2007 the shows were just introduced with CBBC idents and no VO, outside of the Ed & Oucho weekday slot (which itself roughly mirrored the old BBC1 afternoon slot).

And now CBBC are the only ones who have in vision continuity, at one time every channel apart from Cartoon Network had it (though even they had brief periods of live continuity- with real time computer animation).

Wasn't this in line when Saturday Mash Up started last Autumn with the simulcast on BBC2 as well as the CBBC Channel and appears they have kept kids programmings in the slot going. (I could be wrong mind you!)
We also got a fab ident on 2 for Saturday Mash Up as well
