Starting yesterday, the CBBC DOG (not to be confused with the CBBC dog ) has showed between programmes in trailers and links.

Same applies for CBeebies. In fact, I noticed CBeebies was showing the DOG in-between programmes before CBBC were. I assumed it was an error at first.
What do you call an angry trail? A cross-promotion.

Worth noting that as before when Something Special is on CBeebies, the programme remains DOG-less, the DOG does remain on everything else.

Excellent stuff.

(Includes rare footage of Esther McVey doing a job she was just about competent at.)

Remember this at the time, this was all part of Lime Grove day on the August Bank Holiday in 1991 where all of BBC2's line-up was programmes produced at or about Lime Grove to mark the studio's closure. CBBC was on BBC2 that week because of the World Athletics Championships so they got co-opted into the day and all the links were in black and white.

CBBC was on top form at the time, I remember April 1st was Easter Monday that year and their April Fool was that the transmitters were broadcasting in mirror image, so they showed the BBC1 Transmitter Information slide back to front, and played the opening titles of Ovide in mirror image too. Which was far too subtle for most of the audience, I would suspect. It certainly was for me, I was totally taken in by it all.

Ovide, that's a show I've not seen in years... suprised it's not out on DVD!

I'm sure I can remember the titles being broadcast mirror image too, but i could be misremembering.

The last 10 seconds of an episode of The Good Old Days played just after Scream Street, which dates back to 1981! No reason for the playing and no fault slide. Albeit a very baffling occurence!
EDIT: I would record it but I have no software to. Any footage would be appreciated.
It's not even realistic.
