New logo for 2016 - out with the green

It'll be interesting to see the consolidated ratings. If it beats 824K then it makes it into the top 10, if it beats 984K then it gets the number one spot. Do we think this would be achievable?

Should've been on BBC One as well


It was never likely to air on BBC One, there wouldn't be a slot for it for one and I suspect anything commissioned for CBBC can't be shown on BBC One unless it's in the afternoons for tariff reasons.

I'm not very sure on how BARB ratings work - what do the consolidated ratings involve?

Overnights - exactly that. A snapshot survey of how many were watching and when.
Consolidated - That, and also including 7 day viewing figures from PVR's and I-Player views.

My Mum Tracy Beaker - Consolidated Ratings:

Episode 1 (12th February) - 883,000 (CBBC’s fifth highest rating ever)
Episode 2 (13th February) - 570,000
Episode 3 (14th February) - 460,000

There is also a movie version on the iPlayer which some viewers will have watched and will have resulted in lower numbers for Episode 2 and 3 - we will find out the consolidated rating for the movie on 8th March.
