Is there a reason why CBBC are having the halfterm schedule run for two weeks?

Different councils have different half terms?

My local paper suggests that half term is two weeks this year!

It comes as the half term begins across the region, meaning lessons are paused until Monday March 1

If half term was starting now and is one week as you'd expect, kids should be back doing their online lessons on February 22nd, not March 1st. So either that's some very poor journalism from the Hull Daily Mail, or something's changed.

My brother is going ‘back’ on 22nd February, but he’s secondary so I don’t know about primary.

Most likely. I know some councils have started a two week half-term in October, but I don't think any are in February.

It's done to reflect all of the half terms. Different councils have different half terms dates so doing 2 weeks of half term on screen ensures that it's half term on screen for most of their viewers.
Telly's finest.

Wow.... it looks like alot of 20 and 30 years olds are revisiting their childhoods and introducing (maybe re-introducing) the OG Beaker to their kids

Bloody hell! That's fantastic. (To give you an idea, 30-40k overnights is a good rating)

Indeed and I was one of them....

I would imagine it skewed much older than the CBBC target audience.
