CBBC Top 40- New look

I see that CBBC's UK Top 40 has a new look. Has it been shown on air yet? Its all pink and yellow lord help us... logo can be found here

Any Caps from new title sequence , music etc...

Yep. Launched last Sunday. Not all pink on the telly!

If they chose redoing the set as apposed to geting the last episodes of AstroBoy, there will be heads rolling.

I saw the titles and saw that they've taken this opportunity to get rid of the Radio 1 logos...have they also scrapped the brief link up to JK and Joel at the end? I know when it started they had many more link ups and they've kind of petered out.

Andrew still hands over to JK & Joel at the end to "officially" announce the Number One - which I'm sure is pre-recorded.

I like the new format of the show, whereby clips of each song in the Top 40 are played, and typically-CBBC like songs are played in full. As the chart is now integrated, the download chart is no longer featured but they still do a Top 10 album rundown.

Although the CSO is a bit dodgy - and it failed a couple of times.

They also have a new phone-in quiz which didn't go well - after the 40 seconds allowed to ask questions were up, Andrew kept going on!

I've just seen the new look for the first time and I think it's hideous, far too bright and, well, cheap.

The graphics are way too big on screen.

And they also keep on using that beginning bit from the Chemical Brothers song that recently in between the songs. Gets a little grating hearing it for the 7th time.

All in all, I hate the new look.

perfect example of why DOGS should be shown the door

I think that some dogs are needed and some are good if there are the right size. I do think tho that dog is oversized.

That was the first bit i've ever seen of UKTop40 tonight!
I saw that competition phone-in thing and it was quite good.

The CSO for (I assume) the whole show id dreadfully claustrophobic, I presume the budget for this has been cut drastically.
