Is it the same studio, the windows seemed more real with the brief bit I glimpsed, as if there were treesblowing about outside. Then again could have been an illusion as they were doing moving camera shots.

I have a feeling they may be back in TC9 now - though whether they are live still is another question.

Newsround Extra failed today and judging by the way they dealt with it, it was live.

I would imagine the CBBC Channel is no longer live (or at least during the afternoon), the presenters also said they would be over on the channel after CBBC One, so I'm guessing they do this bit live?.

Well CBBC on One is certainly no longer coming from the studio it used to come from! There is something completely different coming from there.

I think CBBC on One is coming from TC9 again, as I think I noticed that window with the frosted glass today.

I wouldn't be suprised if the used part of TC9 for the afternoon as in theory it reduces the cost of having a extra studio which is only used for an hour or two a day, especially if the Breakfast show is now pre-recorded.

It's been recorded for years now. The CBBC Channel links seemed to be coming from the previous CBBC One studio so they're definitly recorded now.

The studio that is used for CBBC 1 is used alot more than a couple of hours a day. CBBC on BBC Prime also uses this studio. I imagine that if they are comming from TC9 it is only temporary, perhaps while they revamp there normal studio.

But I thought Breakfast and Newsround come from TC7? I don't think that CBBC ever came from that studio.

Not temporary. The studio previously used for CBBC on One is now being used for another programme.
