200, surely?

Up until January Xchange was 2 x 30" shows a day. Since then it's been 1 x 60" programmes a day. There will have been around 2030 shows.

Make sure you tune in this week to see highlights from the previous 4 years.

Though it was previously 1x30' repeated twice the next day...

In the good old days... the Breakfast show was live, repeated at lunch, and then a new show live at 6.30 or something.

And do the first shows on BBC One count.... before CBBC Channel?

No, they were a different series, so are in addition to the 2000 on the CBBC Channel.

I see. It was a good show in its day. It went off when they moved out of their old set, where CBBC was based too. Shame really.

Although in reality they didn't move - the CBBC presentation did!

XChange and CBBC presentation used to share the same general production studio - it even provided Nelly Nut and Newsround Digital - all from the same studio and gallery. However this meant all the channel's eggs were in one basket, and if XChange was de-commissioned there was a large studio doing a couple of small programmes...

So Nelly and Newsround got their own little studios and galleries, CBBC Pres moved to the CBBC on One pres area (and CBBC on One moved into a small studio - previously home to BBC World, Treasure Hunt, News 24 and the last fortnight of Celebdaq...) leaving just XChange in the same studio they were always in - though with a different, new set.

I must admit that X Change was a great programme, especially when it first launched, great set, great set of presenters, and the fact that it was a live programme and was a breakfast show containing the programmes, which I think worked better than it being a 30 and recently 60 minute solo programme.

Its a shame that they can't just move it to the afternoon, presumebly its a budget thing though.

I heard a rumour that Gemma Hunt would be doing a new Saturday morning show soon with Andrew Haydn-Smith. That's probably why Dick and Dom is finished.

Has anyone noticed the continuity-lite on Saturday mornings the last few weeks? Just in between the shows on BBC2 it's just been voice overs on top of the idents, no trailers or anything, on Saturday the only studio link was at the end presumably simulcast with the channel as it was encouraging viewers to "come over".

Also notice they were announcing a new look studio - perhaps I've just answered my own question! Anyway, it's been like that for a while so it looked like the cost-cutting kicking in.
