I thought this was going to be a post about the ITV detective drama from the late 80's featuring Leslie Ash and Jill Gascoigne???? (the one from the Gentle Touch!)

Me too... a TVS classic, surely deserves a repeat on itv3

Alas, no! I did put a little disclaimer!

(and no, not that cat's eyes)

Actually, on the subject of The Gentle Touch, has anyone got the slow end titles theme? I could put this in the request forum, but it's too obscure for those lot.

One was called Duke, what was the other called?

JOOK, actually. The other was called Jimmy.

Excellent stuff!

About the only schools programme I made a point of watching when I wasn't actually there. Although the singing parts were rubbish.

Typing this brought up a distant memory of watching Zig Zag, where Paul Coia shows us some genuine excavated Viking poo much to the merriment of the classroom at the time!

Does 'T.V.S.' still exist as a company? If not, who owns all of their assets?

I know 'Thamas' is known as 'Talkback Thamas' in 'Freemantle Media' now (from what programmes' endboards tell me).

OH MY GOD! CATS EYES! I remember that in Reception, and the whole class would say Cat's Eyes as the titles said it.

Oh, class that show. Proper class...
