I definately think the Nan is the best. Reason being it's the most true to life sketch on the show.

The 3rd series has definitely been more hit & miss then the other 2, but thankfully she's wisely said it will be the last. Unlike 'Little Britain' - which Lucus & Walliams are whoring to death. Rolling Eyes

je ne suis pas bovered. I like the way she varies that character. I think last night's Derek Faye was extremely funny on Hampstead Heath.

Actually I she said in a recent interview that this wasn't the last series. She just wanted to branch out and do other things.

Some sketches have been very funny indeed and dare I say very non-pc, but other have either been a bit too weird (the actress being Frankie Howard) or not funny at all (lady who goes off for snacks while her friends get killed).

I'm sorry to say I don't find Nan funny in the least. All she does is swear, which is funny a couple of times, but gets boring after a while.

Lauren Cooper is more true to life; CT says she picks up Lauren's dialogue from listening to teenage girls on the bus, and I can believe it! Laughing The sketches involving Lauren tend to vary, as do the Derek Faye sketches; these are the funniest, because they remain fresh-- plus there are proper punchlines at the end of those sketches.

For me the rest of sketches are unwitty, tedious and/or repetitive -- going the same way as Little Britain . A lot of CT's and LB's sketches are just one-trick ponies to me.

I think CT is right to concentrate on other things now Cool
