I was surprised to see the itv.com website address on the end credits, especially since it had "for itv" (with the new logo) on the endcap.

Yeah I though it would have been the STV Website since they were the ones who actually made the programme..

It was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. Quite enjoyed it. A good mix of old and new. Nice retaining the old sound effects, but also nice that they updated it just the right amount. Though some of the Catchphrases were bizarre. Examples such as 'Celebrity Juice'. Since when was that a Catchphrase?? Also the 'Shoot from the Hip' Catchphrase bizarrely had a skeleton in it, didn't see any particular reason for that, unless you really needed a slap across the face to point out where the hip was.

Stephen Mulhern was surprisingly good too. He did perhaps do a little of the Vernon Kay cheeky chappy hosting style which i'm not especially a fan of, but at least he reacted in funny ways to whenever a contestant said something stupid.

So not bad, not bad at all! Better I think than any version post Roy Walker so far.

The music sounds fantastic on the ITV Player as it doesn't have any voiceover, and the audience is faded out within a couple of seconds...

To stop Identity popping up and hogging the requests in the next 28 minutes! Wink

Certainly better than "So welcome to Crutchphrase *cue laughter* I'm Nick Weir and I'm plastered!"

I'm not a fan of Mr Mulhern, he's always somebody who 'needs' autocue rather than 'refers' to autocue. However, Roy Walker won't ever be coming back so I think we just have to deal with that.

The theme remix is great, as for the CGI... I'm hoping they go back to the cartoon-style next series because, like Les Dennis's first series of Family Fortunes in 1987... just because it's the latest technology, it isn't always better!

A lot better than I thought it would be. Still a few teething issues but really enjoyable.

Also one thing I didn't notice, since it was an STV Production, there was no ITV Logo during the opening titles.

Where did you find the music? I watched it on ITV Player and it has applause and voiceover.

Definitely on ITV Player website and also ITV Player on Sky....None had a voiceover and the audience was faded out within a couple of seconds.
