Can the mods spilt this and give it its own thread?

Two points.
1 - Pity the development teams of the indie producers who are trying hard to get new, fresh formats onto television, only for another show dredged up from the swamp of expired programmes to clog the schedules back up again 10 years later.

2 - If it is going to be made by STV productions, that'll make BBC Studios happy - as it'll probably be made next door at Pacific Quay.

I've read several times in the past that Roy would love to do it again, I wonder if they would consider him?

Well you can still book him to come out with an old computer and plays the game at your events. The computer comes complete with original Catchphrase animations, and you get a nice CD with a load of the car park catchphrase music (and bizarely the Chris Moyles breakfast ending theme music).

Bizarrely?*

Did you know it's played at the end of every Chris Moyles Show on Radio 1? If you do, I suppose you are questioning why it's included on the CD rather than why it would possibly be.

*That's the second time I've used that word as a question in a past recently...

Maybe it will be a piss take version for drunks. If they were taking it seriously it would be presented by Roy Walker.

If they were taking it seriously, they would show it on ITV1.

And there is every chance that he may not want to do it, the man is in his 70's.
