Well tonight's the night for the big return, hopefully it turns out to be alright. I do hope that Stephen Mulhern walks off the set with the contestant when the credits roll like Roy used to do back in the day.

I hope he falls down the stairs and breaks his leg like Nick Weir used to do. It would show that the producers have understood what people liked about the programme.

If he does, we won't see it. We'll get blinded by the glorious black screen of ITV.

Unfortunately I can see that happening!

£50,000 isn't exactly huge for a primetime quiz these days.

I would imagine it is for STV though...
