Catchphrase returns

Course, the Catchphrase graphics never looked cheap. No pleasing some people.

It's not the cheapness of the animation, it's the chirpiness of Mulhern.

It's seems like they've deliberately made them clunky to pay homage to the old show, but really that makes no sense, as the old graphics were actually very good quality for the time they were made. Especially for a cheap gameshow.

They do look cheap, but cheerful, I like the look of it, couldn't help but notice there were three contestants in that promo, I guess it's good to try something different. I don't think Stephen will to be too bad, I'm sure he'll be better than Nick Weir and Mark Curry.

I went to the pilot recording and a recording of the full series. Look out for cheesy catchphrases of popular ITV shows during the game!

Although all it means is like pretty much every new game show nowadays is that it's a case of the loser being eliminated after every round.

It's being brought back for nostalgia purposes and we all remember the graphics being tacky, so it would be a shame to go all Pixar on them.

With it being an STV Production the onscreen ads/promos here with Stephen have ham him saying "Catchphrase is back on STV"! Wonder if UTV have had specific ad's too?

Is it me or does the voiceover reference "Mr Chip" rather than "Chips"?

They've missed a trick on the presenter though

The first round is not for money, its to survive into the traditional game. So the old round one is round two.
