'Casualty' Thread—Is That the End?!

This video has a clean copy of the closing credits from the first broadcast of the new series, in which it is plain to hear that the closing music used for the first episode at least was just the opener song with a little more backing instrument in the first part and a slight extension of the final bars when the BBC MMVI bit appears.

Does anyone have a video/audio grab of this Sunday's closing credits because I'm itching to hear the changes they've made mid-series to the theme.

Would a more defined bassline sound better?

Yes IMO this sounds much classier and more together than the current theme.

My brother found a YouTube video with the old casualty themetune, with the ending credits.

The creator of the video did so to see how Holby City would look with the casualty titles, so it is the opening titles of holy city, with the sig. tune of Casualty.

Good to see the bbc recognising the plight of all our local A&E Depts. which have been closed in recent months. Yes for the programme to abruptly meet its end would be clever, but due to its popularity i cant see that happening.

If that's your prognosis Casualty would have ended after just one run! Series 1 ended with the night shift being closed, and the staff vowing to get it re-opened. The re-opening happened, as you might expect, in S2 Ep 1.
