Back when it was a series and not a continuing drama, series 3 introduced the titles we have now, but it was different before, the people and the sink where the water runs wasnt there.
Are you sure? When I saw those episodes on UK Gold recently, I could swear they were.
If it is based on the original song, I do hope that they restore the beginning part, that leads into the hook. Also, wasn't there a key-change in the closing titles?

I do like how the ECP results in us always getting the full closing theme on Holby, especially as it's often timeshifted in Scotland and therefore shown clean.
They have a 2-3 week break between series. They've upped the episode count of each series lately, it used to end in March up until 5-6 years ago
Its a shame that Casualty seems to run almost all year now. I have watched on and off since the early 1990s and at one time I remember there were only 15 episodes per series. Then it went to 24, and more and more episodes were added each series.
I havent watched it for about 18 months, mind you I do watch Holby City sometimes.
They used to show 'Bugs' in the seasons which didn't have 'Casualty', and another programme, which I've forgotten the name of, which was about this lady with a time-machine in her bedroom, and she would go back in time to see crimes happen, so she could get the evidence to prove who did it. Therewas another series I think, but I can't remember it.
