So any thoughts on tonight's episode?

Good:
- It was very gripping and I genuinely thought Zoe and Dillan were going to die!
- The effects were generally good. Towards the beginning it looked a bit fake and there was nowhere near enough smoke for the amount of stuff on fire.
- The way Ruth and Jay exited via the Clifton Suspension Bridge was a great way for those characters and of course Bristol.

Bad:
These are more picky things:
- Where did Zoe and Dillan exit recuss for that short scene where they were in a corridor and Zoe shouted 'Back to recuss!'? I thought there was only one way in and out.
- I find it absolutely ridiculous that we are supposed to believe Holby City characters wouldn't be involved. There should have been at least a small cross-over, with a couple of characters from Holby in the episode.

Overall I enjoyed this episode though. Looking forward to its return in January.

I agree with all of your comments including the one about Zoe and Dillan leaving the building. I am genuinely gutted that Ruth and Jay have left the show, I loved the pair. However I do feel their exit story was a bit rushed, it's only been a couple of weeks since they have been the focus of the story and now they are out of it.

There are a set of doors in the back right of the main resus room, so maybe it was down there?

Maybe I missed it happening, but... did anyone die?

I don't think anyone did - I found that very strange. I was actually expecting something horrific to happen to Jay and Ruth in the camper van.

I missed the start of Holby City, but a patient with a hand injury said he would have gone to the Emergency Department but it seemed a bit out of use, to which the Sister replied with "we had a fire".

A fire that wiped out the entire ED is briefly mentioned in Holby...

The producer from the show described Holby as always being something of an 'every city' rather than something that represents Bristol, whilst it probably has been like that for some time, if you watch the early episodes there were West Country accents.

I'm disappointed it moved from Bristol, but you've just got to except it and move on. It would be nice to think they'd paid homage to Bristol in the building design of the High Street or they could occasionally use locations in the city.

I think Holby is supposed to be near to Bristol, in the fictional county of Wyvern, so West Country accents would perhaps make sense.
