Hi all

I would have used an existing Casualty thread to ask this, but couldn't find one that hadn't been archived.

Was just wondering - was the shopping centre in last weekends episode a real one? If so which was it?

And was it just me who noticed the Woolworths store in it? Razz Irony!

Liked the fact it was shut when the mall was open.

I think I recognised it as one of the main shopping centres in Bristol (Broadmead?) - it was the Woolworths that gave it away.

Yeah it was the Broadmead Mall Shopping centre in Bristol, where Woolworths is still very much there with the shutters down.

It was actually the filmed in the Mall Galleries in Bristol which is part of the Broadmead/Cabot Circus development.

Nice to see Toby De Silva at the end of tonight's episode. Nick Jordan returns next week.

I thought the return of Nick this week was fantastic, if not award nomination worthy. From reading around it appears he's in it for at least the next 2 weeks, so don't expect to see him knocked off just yet. Laughing

It was a very good episode - definitely stronger than the other three this series. I'd like to see some Holby characters give a farewell to Nick; apart from in one episode where Nick showed some pictures of Holby characters, he's acted like he never worked upstairs in the hospital.

I think you may unfortunately be disappointed. The Producer of Casualty or Holby City has said that as both programmes run almost all year round it is very difficult to do much cross over between the two programmes - particularly as they aren't filmed close together.

Casualty@Holby.City is set to make a return either at the end of this year or early next year for a week of specials revolving around a major case which is 'set to rock Holby City Hospital'. Rumour is that her that had the trout-pout is due to appear in a few of the episodes as a 'hospital boss'.

Are you talking about Leslie Ash? Because if you are then she's joining Holby sometime next month on a 1-year contract to play the new CEO, not just in Casualty @ Holby.

I understand that, and I wasn't meaning a cross-over. Even just a mention every now and then. Holby City has not once mentioned Nick Jordan's return to the hospital, considering last time he was seen at Holby they couldn't wait to get rid. I also don't see how hard it could be to get Hugh Quarshie (Holby's Ric Griffin) to appear in one episode.

Maybe I'm being a pain as I understand the logistics aren't in place to do this sort of thing, but it would be nice.
