I am surprised no one has mentioned Casanova on here yet, its a fantastic programme.

Wasted on BBC3 however.

It is indeed a great programme. I don't see how it is wasted on BBC3, though - what's wrong with the channel having good programmes? I'm sure the programme will get its run on BBC2 or 1 pretty soon, anyway...

Russell T Davies (the writer) was interviewed on Breakfast a couple of weeks ago and confirmed at that point that it will move to BBC1 later in the year.

It's all part of getting people to watch BBC3 by putting quality programmes on there first.

It is brilliant - and due on BBC1 next month I think. The bit about him speaking French with an Italian accent had me in stitches!

How much artistic licence is there here - did Casanova really invent the lottery?

Starts on 4 April on BBC1, at 9pm if memory serves.

I've only seen the second ep but I now wish I'd seen the first. I must search digiguide for repeats.

The only problem I have with the show is the older verison reminds me of my History teacher which is a problem.

It's very funny, yet very gripping at the same time, very good writing and indeed acting.

Sadly the last episode of Sunday. Crying or Very sad
