CN Too and Boomerang were showing the same thing a minute ago - complete with Boomerang DOG on both channels!

I don't know if it's related, because I don't know whether S4C has any facilites in London - but their coverage of the Royal Welsh Show has very blocky pictures at the moment...

I've had a word with my mum, and from her office 6 floors up in Hammersmith she says she's seen some storm clouds over parts of London (you can see as far as Crystal Palace on a good day up there!) so maybe these power cuts are related to the weather...

There's also reports of a burst water main in Central London, that'll help the hosepipe ban, then!

Well, Cartoon Network UK & one of the Cartoon Network's in Europe are now showing different programmes, and the caption has now stopped scrolling along the bottom of the screens.....

Yep, it's all back to normal now. It was just a quick click on Cartoon Network and it resumed back to the originally planned Pokémon.

Yes, they've recently moved to the Turner HQ near Oxford Circus. CNN is also there, but of course probably wouldn't have been affected as much because it originates in Atlanta

What's the point in having several centres dotted around Europe when it's far easier to do everything from one place. Especially when everything they broadcast is pre-recorded there is very little advantage having multiple playout centres

I've heard there is a powercut in Central London. Surely they would have backup systems?

I'm sure they do.... and I'm pretty sure that is what everyone saw this afternoon!

Back-up systems that made the channels switch to their international versions then? Confused
