Cartoon Network - Problems Across All Channels

All the Cartoon Network channels are showing the wrong programmes. They've got a scrolling message along the bottom apologising for the technical problems.

I wonder what the problem is...

Strangely, the scrolling message appears to be in a few languages. Do our Cartoon Network channels go abroad?

TCM is having problems too. Looks like a Turner problem.

CN Too is showing Boomerang which suggests that Turner are broadcasting international versions of the channels (as CN Too is only available in the UK AFAIK).

All websites from Turner in the UK are down aswell (TCM and Cartoon Network)

CN Too is showing Bommerang +1 to be exact. Bare in mind that Boomerang+1 is broadcasting absolutely nothing.

I've heard there is a powercut in Central London. Surely they would have backup systems?

Yeah, we're watching them in action I expect.

Indeed, at least one other non-UK version of Cartoon Network channel is broadcasting exactly the same message & programmes as the UK version - hence why the scrolling text is in several languages....

At least this means Boomerang are showing proper programmes, instead of endless Scooby-Doo (which they seem to have an obsession with, considering the amount of Scooby weeks/weekends they have). I'm not sure how long this "Scooby Summer" goes on for, it's already been on for nearly 3 weeks.

I wouldn't be suprised to find that all of the European Cartoon Network channels come from the same place, certinally most of the European MTV channels come from Camden, as do some of the European Nickelodeon channels.

On a related note, I wonder if CN Too will come to NTL any time soon.

Here Boomerang +1 is showing a still of what looks like a cartoon version of Morticia & Wednesday Addams.

TCM is completely blank now.
