I know the media never get the value of these deals right, but I've seen figures of both £20m and £7m in relation to this, compared to £3m a year for Big Brother.
Surely The X Factor isn't worth that mcuh more - yes, it may get more viewers on a Saturday night but I'm sure this would be more than matched with the reach Big Brother and it's various spin-offs - not to mention the daily live coverage - has.
