Tragic news, despite the circumstances.

Never been a big fan of Caroline, but her pres delivery was bang on for the demographic who enjoyed her shows, including Love Island.

There are two issues here. One brings up again the welfare of participants on structured reality formats, including the talent and the other is the the press coverage of her recent domestic incident, which led to Ms Flack not being allowed to directly contact her partner who she was alleged to have assaulted.

Welfare is becoming a major issue and it appears that talent will have to become a duty of care for the production company or broadcasters in the future.

The media murdered Caroline Flack. There is no other way of explaining it.

It’s seems insensitive to start pointing fingers but I feel angry about this terrible lose of life. I’m sure the media should shoulder some of the responsibility. But also the authorities and the handling of the recent case perhaps should be called into question, there should be safeguards in place to reduce the chances of things like this happening. Maybe there were but I suspect there wasn’t much in place.

I know there's a lot of shock and anger about this but it is a bit too soon to be making allegations.

I know that but I'm saying a bit of restraint is needed.

Wasn’t Caroline flack the presenter she wasn’t a contestant on Love Island, I imagine the whole duty of care issue was about the contestants rather then the presenter sad however especially for the demographic the show appealed too who I imagine will be shocked and saddened.

And it was used.
