ITV 2 will be replacing Just Eat Sponsorship advertisements with contact details for Samaritans during tonight’s episode.

I wonder how much in sponsorship will be lost tonight? Yes, it is a tragic event that has happened, but you do know there are some callous ******* at ITV who will be counting the cost of this, if this is correct.

Well that’s a very odd take on this information. Sounds like you are getting outraged at a scenario you’ve just made up.

The way the statement is worded suggests that it might be JustEat's initiative to have Samaritans info instead of the sponsor bumpers.

Aftersun will not air for the remainder of this series.

Tonight's Aftersun was due to be the final episode.

I'm really intrigued as to how they handle the tribute tonight. Whether it will be something from Laura in the Aftersun studio, clips with Iain voicing over or something else.

Yes, a very peculiar post.

No pick and mix ident into Love Island or ad bumper

A rather poignant and just a tad haunting still ident before the start of the programme. Iain narrated a tribute over some landscape footage and now the show seems to be going on as normal. No sign of a Samaritans promo.

Still ident from itv2, a poignant tribute by Iain to the sound of waves

Minimal Iain VO in the episode so far, only one in fact and that was just to establish the scene. No gags whatsoever and I expect they'll keep it that way for the rest of the series.

Just seen the slide for Samaritans.

I wonder if any of the media organisations signposting the Samaritans over the last few days are contributing to the charity's costs? Raising awareness is a good thing for the charity, but it will surely increase call volumes and financial contributions would seem appropriate.

With the strapline mentioning Just Eat and ITV at the bottom.

Everytime I see the email address put out I just think "poor Jo". Wink

Not to be too cynical but things like the recent Britain Get Talking promos are something which tick the social enterprise box for ITV for a relatively low cost.
