I agree with all the Anglia stuff and it definately gets called Anglia instead of ITV most of the time.
I liked the flag - duh duh, duh duh, duh duh, duh duh der derrrrrrrrrrrr
(Anglia people will know what I mean if they think back.)
But now Anglia is just another link in the chain of the giant Granada.
Why do they bother with ITV - why not just Granada and Carlton - it's getting like that.

ITV needs to shape up with locations aswell, because my TV downstairs has Central WEST and my TV upstairs have Central South. And both arials are facing the same way, whys that?
If you use a portable aerial upstairs you may be picking up a stronger signal from another transmitter, but the one on the roof may be grouped towards a different one. If not, tune in both regions on both tellys and be glad that you have extra regional news choice

Going off the topic slightly, Carlton-London used the sunrise ident today before the Danielle Steel thing at about half ten.
This was the first time I'd seen this ident for ages, is there any reason why they don't use it much, or is it just me that hasn't seen it for a while?
Perhaps they thought they would use it because it's sunny today

Having only ever seen it on Real Video (I'm guessing you mean the one with black heart and the sun appearing around its edges), it always reminds more of the obelisk in '2001' -- especially with the music that accompanies it.
