I was just wondering what the easiest way to get video captures from your TV was?

How do you guys do it and what do you use?

Cheers

A question that comes up occasionally.

I use the Hauppauge DualHD USB tuner for Freeview using the supplied WinTV software. Game recording for the majority of my foreign stuff, but also have a dodgy IPTV account where I can record direct .ts streams using ProgDVB Network Edition.

VLC can also convert streams.

For HD I use an AGPTEK HDMI To USB 3.0 Video Capture Card which captures up to 1080P 60fps HD.
