Season 6 is out now either as part of a box set with season 5 or as a stand alone season.

I've always loved Seinfeld, particulary over Friends. Favorite characters are Kramer (for obvious reasons) and Frank Costanza (George's father) particularly when he goes mental at his son.

My mate's favourite is Newman, he finds him absolutely hilarious.

I couldn't agree with you anymore there, I only have Series 1-4 on DVD, I haven't managed to get my hands on 5 & 6 yet. Though it seems as if Paramount Comedy 2 will probably be showing it forever, last night they showed the classic Man Bra episode, or 'Bro' considering how you put it. Laughing

Shame it didn't really take off in this country, only Paramount have treated the show properly, Sky seemed to show most episodes once and the BBC pretty much the same, though they showed it at 12.00am usually. Evil or Very Mad

In my opinion, Seinfeld is the best US sitcom. I don't think anything will ever beat it again.

My favourite character in Seinfeld would have to be Frank Costanza - Jerry Stiller is so funny playing him! When Frank features in an episode you know it's going to be fantastic. I must admit that I think Jerry Stiller is amazing - he's just as funny as Arthur Spooner in The King of Queens.

Having said that, I feel that all the characters/actors in Seinfeld are brilliant. The show wouldn't be the same without any one of the characters.

The Fusilsi (sp?) Jerry was on Paramount 2 tonight, again another classic episode, probably because of Kramer acidentally being sent the wrong Car Registration plate, he got 'ASSMAN' instead of his normal plate.

Slightly OT, but does anyone think this series of Extras is becoming a weird hybrid of Curb Your Enthusiasm and I'm Alan Partridge, I think it is, though it's still good.

I beg to differ - Arrested Development was, in my opinion, the best American sitcom.

It was on sunday evenings at about 11.45pm shown together with Larry Sanders Show. Rather like American Dad & Family Guy (and now family guy bbc3 11.30pm)

Yep nicely done so no-one know's about them, because of the classic "oh people won't get them" crap.
