I know I'll get shot down in flames for saying this... but I don't like the way a lot of this forum treats new people. If any new member dares to make a mistake, they get jumped on by a pack of wolves.
To cut a long story short... don't you think you could've been a bit less rude in the way you said it?

I thought Larry's response was abrupt and a bit rude, to be honest. You would never walk into a shop and be spoken to like that, it is one of the ultimate heights of rudeness and crass errors a shop employee can make. So why do people think they can get away with it on an Internet forum?
I personally would have answered the question if I could and then leave it to be moved. Or answer it and point out that this is in the wrong forum. Or just ignored the post altogether.
