Seems as if a deal has been done to bring Sky Sport Xtra to cable customers. It appeared on channel 950 of ntl:home today and is available to subscribers of the Sky Sports package.
Just in time for tonight's Champions League game. Of course it is without the enhanced interactivity at the moment.

I can't see the interactive stuff coming for a long time. If NTL don’t even have sky news active, and basics like that, then I feel the sports interactive is still to while back.

It's not here in Cheshire yet, but apparently there has been some fault at NTL which means that it won't be on until 5.00am tomorrow morning, which sucks, but I am still looking foward. But checking Digital Spy and NTHell World within these couple of weeks they are adding Paramount 2, BBC One Wales, Scotland and NI, so it looks quite promising.
Plus the launch of SSX is dual and for once it is launching on Telewest at the same time as NTL.

BBC Nations available to all? Ages ago NTL got BBC2w for my mate in england, but after 2 months or so it just went. wonder why? Also a Mate in Granada Area got HTV WALES on another channel for 2 months or so.
Also, wonder why NTL dont have Bravo+1? They have living+1. I wonder if Trouble reload will come soon?

Apparently so, from what I have read on NTHW they are awaiting confirmation and details later this week. We've had NTL for some time and we have never had HTV Wales available to us, I think BBC 2W was available in the west apparently. I wouldn't mind seeing all the regions being added, but there isn't enough space to have the channels on, as they are starting to run out.

Well my Friend in the North West got BBC 2w and HTV Wales like I said. Perhaps this must have been a mistake by NTL.
So If NTL Get BBC 1 Scotland, that channel will be in the same position as its on Sky. It will have the caption when Scottish football is on, so for the BBC the only ways of watching the match are on Analogue and Freeview. How convenient for the BBC. A good excuse for everyone to get Freeview!
What do you mean by isn't enough space to have the channels on, as they are starting to run out? I know new channels like Sky one Mix etc have been added to the end of the list in the 900's but there are loads of gaps at the start. NTL really need to fill in the gaps. For a start channel 210, TV5 then 300 Playboy. 90 channel spaces there ready and waiting. 301 Television X, than 401 Radio 1. Huge gap there too. Ch 422 Extreme sport than Ch 613 Boomerang. Another HUGE gap. 661 is Yes 661 then its 800 fashion TV. Big gap there too.
NTL have more room for BBC and ITV regions than what Sky have. Good Job Sky don’t have all 25 odd ITV areas and the sub regions on the EPG. I can’t find a huge gap in the EPG near the 900's.
