C5 Xmas!

Stunning new idents for C5....and it was in widescreen!! (Instead of switching after the ident/before the programme, they did it so we saw the w/s ident!)

Ch 5 Christmas Idents are great and Widesceen just before Family Affairs it will be Widesceen @ 20.30 just before house Doctor if anyone wants to catch it.

Haha erm, not me! I flicked over before Family Affairs to see if they were showing the Christmas idents...

They are the most bizare-looking idents I've ever seen ... but I love them, especially the olde-looke 'grain' over the images - very nice indeed!

It reminds me of a Kids tv show, 'Who is that looking through the telescope ?'

Who was it by the way ?

They are good aren't they? I saw it first this morning when they were showing a film with 'Mr (A Team) T'.

They are well made, but i'm not a fan. Its quite a traditional type look but contrast with the modern style of their idents normally. Good but nit quite my cup of tea.

And they aren't really Christmassy, just wintery.

True but after so many years, do the idents need to be cliched with Father Christmas, Reindeer etc.. etc..?? I like the computer generated ones (i.e. explosive Carlton ones) just as much but nice to go for a calming ident once in a while...

And much better than Santa creeping around on a floor like last year!

it reminds me a bit of the uk Gold one last year.

Shame the programmes aren't as good as the ident!
