C4 "Goes Back To"...each decade

The clip quality was pretty terrible for some of the shows. Wonder if C4 is tempted to bring BB back at some stage?

Odd this was a top 25 whilst the previous two were just the top 20, probably just to ensure Jamie's School Dinners featured. Seem to stick to the floating 4 version of the graphics too.

I'm surprised The Simpsons never got mentioned in the programme since the show started airing in November 2004 and South Park, Friends and Frasier got briefly mentioned in the previous one.

Actually they didn't mention imports at all unlike the others, or do a segment on sport considering they showed one of the sporting highlights of the decades with The Ashes. Obviously cut those segments to make way for the extra 5 shows, so be interesting to see what happens tonight. Also got the impression from it's lengthy inclusion in the 8 out of 10 Cats segment that Cats does Countdown won't get a separate entry tonight, which is a bit odd considering they split Celebrity Big Brother and Big Brother into two different shows - and to be honest they need as much content for the 10s as they can find.

The last two for me have highlighted how C4 was at it's peak the few years each side of the turn of the century. I think tonights will highlight just how far they've fallen.

I reckon Gogglebox will be top tonight.

I wouldn't be surprised if they have to list Gogglebox and Celebrity Gogglebox separately to help plug the gaps.

In that case they could fill up most of the list just with Bake Off spin offs.

Now there is a question of whether Bake Off should be included at all.

I think The Simpsons, Bake Off and Taskmaster shouldn't be in that list as they were poached from other broadcasters.

First two are very popular and thought of as being connected to C4, Taskmaster not as much yet

Isn't Simpsons primarily connected to Sky? By the time Channel 4 airs them, the episodes are already four years old.
