If it wasn't for Tracy Beaker, the CBBC channel would probably be closed down most of the time Laughing What would CBBC have done if it launched 12 months earlier?

And if they showed something else they'd probably save thousands in repeat fees!

Last time I watched Grange Hill it had those two twins in it of which one of them later went on to play Jenny in 2 Point 4 Children, shows the last time I ever saw Grange Hill Laughing BTW do they still have the same theme music from that era?

As for Byker Grove, I'm suprised that's lasted as long. Always an odd programme if I remember correctly about a group of geordie kids going to a youth club. The theme was always horrible although the last incarnation I heard of it (about 5 years ago) was even worse!

To be honest both CBBC & CITV are shadows of their former selves mainly due to cheap imports. Even for under 10's, who could forget classics such as Dangermouse, Thundercats, He-Man, Transformers, Trapdoor, Rainbow, Thomas The Tank Engine, Postman Pat, Ivor The Engine, et all and although not all listed were from the UK at least they had some storylines, morals & even wee watchable compared to the sh*te of today

Yes, although cut down to just 15 seconds with SFX overlaid.
