How many of ITV studio based programmes are actually fimed in ITV studios across the country. It does seem to me that they rather spend money on hiring studios from indepedent companies rather than using their own. ITV plc don't seem to use their own resources that well.
Granada Studios in Manchester are usually busy as they seem to film a lot of BBC manchester programmes there. It's just a small glitch at the moment with the asbestos problem, otherwise Bullseye would have been filmed there.
There's a nice trailer on Challenge at the moment for Bullseye featuring Dave and Tony out on a speedboat reminiscing about Dave's time as a contestant on the original Bullseye featuring mock-ups of the episode. And a slide too with Tony saying "Bullseye begins in foouuurrr days, exclusively to Challenge".
It would be nice if they'd splashed out on a bit of ITV1 Saturday night / Sunday teatime advertising slot.

It's a lovely trailer. They've obviously gone to a lot of trouble. Pity the superimposed Bully at the end of it is in the wrong aspect ratio!
(And I'm not too keen on the animation of Bully used on the 4 days trailer, either; presumably, the same that's used in the show itself. They managed far better back in the 80s.)
Well for arguments sake, Jim Bowen actually moved to Nottingham with Bullseys in 1988 - he announced it on the ITV Telethon from that year (sad, but I have this on video somewhere).
If you remember Central moved all it's network production to Nottingham at this time (Boon etc.) due to the fact that those nice shiny new studios cost so much to operate - they even tried renting them out as the Television House.
However, since ITV have now invested in Culverhouse Cross, is does make you wonder why they closed Nottingham, Southampton etc. in the first place.
As far as I'm aware, Bullseye was always meant to be filmed in Leeds - the production offices are however in Manchester.
I have to say it wasn't that bad, I rather enjoyed it, Dave Spikey looked a bit nervous but settled down rather quickly. Though my only flaw was that the contestants or the audience just didn't take it seriously, when I mean seriously, you compare it to the old one and on those the contestants do it for the money or prizes, where as on this one it's merely for a cheap laugh (No Thanks to certain gag's from Peter Kay) and probably a Bendy Bully. Plus the whole audience sniggered their way through Bully's Prize Board, and to be fair the prizes weren't that crap.
Though I was hoping Bully's Special Prize would be a speedboat, but instead it was a Big Screen TV with a DVD Player.
All of the music and graphics were the same as the one's on the Ant and Dec one-off they did last year.
Nearly faultless - the only thing I didn't like was getting rid of two sets of contestants at the end of part one rather than the previous way of whittling down from 3 to 2 and then 2 to 1!
I wonder if Challenge have the non-celeb version whereas ITV1 will show the celeb versions?
PS that link on the Sun Website isn't just the new titles but the WHOLE pilot show! complete with swearing and bad edits!
