How are they piping the pictures into their living room, is it just regular BT Sport or actual feeds, I can’t imagine Ian Darke with a dish at 7 east pointing at encrypted feeds of Bundesliga.

Maybe he could pop round to your house and do it?

My dish does need fixing but I doubt anyone will come out to fix it with this virus about Sad

Can someone confirm that the 4K Bundesliga feed is an 'international' product used by many broadcasters? It has it's own commentators, different from the BT ones on BTS1. If so into what markets is it offered?

It's the world feed. Any rightsholder can choose to use it as-is, or to replace the commentary with their own. BT use it for matches on Ultimate, and usually on the Extra channels and ESPN, but will generally always do their own production on top of matches on BTS1/2/3.

It's pretty well polished and tightly formatted, but does have around 10 minutes at half-time where it just sits on a stadium wide shot with no commentary.

As was the case on Friday with Matt Smith.

When the studio's been in use, there's probably not more than a dozen people in the building - maybe four or five on the studio floor (including the presenter and guest), with most of the rest getting a room to themself.

So would these five be -
Presenter (1)
Guest (2)
Floor & Studio Technical Manager (3)
Jib & Floor Peds Camera Operator (4)
Lighting, backdrop and Sound (5)

I think the four or five was referring to those on the studio floor, which would at a minimum be be pres / guest / floor manager / jib op (also framing the peds and locking them off)/sound assistant.
