The hatstand bit was the best bit! In his autobiography Brucie said it was alright but not very exciting, but when he was The One Show the other year, someone emailed in to say they'd been on Takeover Bid and Brucie said "Oh, we did one series of that and we were lucky to get that!" Although, as we know, they did two.

It was totally overshadowed by the Generation Game starting a few months later, much like the launch of Strictly rendered Didn't They Do Well instantly forgettable.
