I just heard this on the BBC NC with Anita McVeigh announcing the Breaking News moments ago.

His presenting roles on Play your Cards Rights & Brucie's Price is Right on ITV will be my most memorable roles from this legend.

I will miss him loads now that he is off the screen. May he Rest in Peace.

Very sad. I think I speak for everyone on TV Forum that his contribution to the television and showbiz industry is something that we won't see matched, if ever again.

Kind, warm, audience driven and a true british entertainer until the very end. RIP

Safe to say he'll be much missed, certainly had a long spanning career.

Brucie will be missed, a television legend.

Nice of Anita McVeigh to let some of the clips play out without talking over the top of them.

Here he is hosting Have I Got News For You, with Play Your Iraqi Cards Right at 10:30:

This is satire.

One of UK television’s most legendary personalities by a long mile. Sad news to hear.

Sky News are showing a clip of him meeting the Queen from 2003 which rather awkwardly also includes Rolf Harris.

Sad, but not unexpected, news. I guess Strictly will do some sort of tribute to him on the first episode?

Sad News, but on the day after a terrorist attack with mass casualties the news channels should be keeping the coverage in perspective and should really be limited to a mention in the 'also in the next hour' part of the headlines and a short report.

The last of the real old school all-round entertainers. His charisma got away with some of the more cheesier aspects of Bruce's delivery in his final years of his career on Strictly.

I'd dare anyone not to say they've not enjoyed The Generation Game, Play Your Cards Right, The Price is Right or Strictly to name his more famous shows he's worked on.

Sky already had a pre-prepared Obit from Lucy Cotter (Katie Spencer is the current Arts/Ents correspondent) on Sky News.

Think it's reasonable to assume that tonight's One Show running order will be changed to effectively become a tribute programme.
