you've gotta hand it to Brucie he has been a great all round entertainer and on the whole it's just good clean fun. he's not entirely my cup of tea as said previously some of his jokes are cringeworthy. i always rated bob monkhouse who's of a similar era much more superior - his jokes were always relevant to current event and to me was a very clever, talented man.

it struck me how there weren't too many of Brucie's contempories in the audience and on what basis was Vernon Kay an authorative to be filmed giving his opinion of Brucie - couldn't they get anyone else. He was only there as he's married to Tess Daly.

The only justification I can think of is that he is Mr Tess Daly. Tenuous, I know.

Bring back Bruce Forsyth's Generation Game! That's what I say!

I doubt there will be a mass of swearing from Dermot anyway, and hopefully not. I don't mind adult content, but when it turns to swearing it becomes common and unfunny.

I was watching Jonathan Ross on G2 last night with Brucie on, Jonathan comments on Brucie's dress sense and then says 'repay the ******* comment Bruce', to which Bruce replied I would if I could spell that word.

Why does everything have to turn to swearing, and why do i sound like i'm 86?

I wonder if they will bring back the Generation Game. I know it was due back last year with Paul O'Grady back at the helm. Surely a sure fire hit for Graham Norton

A colleague of mine asked me if I saw this programme (which I'm sorry to say I didn't). It turns out that one of the Gen Game clips from the early 70's featured his father and grandmother as contestants. He didnt see it himself, but had a call from a cousin who spotted the family members.

The question he posed was - how can he get hold of a copy of the programme (or just that part of it)?

Could anyone here help by chance, or would you think the Beeb might oblige? I'm sure that pulling a copy from the server and dubbing to tape wouldn't be a cheap excercise, so if anyone here can help it would be much appreciated.
